Micro Wedding Rome & Italy

I am based in Rome and plan micro weddings for up to 50 guests across Italy. Think private villas, historic estates and Tuscan borgos — venues that feel tailor-made for you. I oversee every detail personally, from the initial concept to the final dance.

Micro-Wed

Less is More. More time, more quality, more presence.

Less is more is not a compromise. It’s a deliberate decision to eliminate the unnecessary and emphasise what matters.

The Concept

A micro wedding brings together up to 50 of your closest family and friends in locations where you can spend more than just the ceremony together, but whole days. You can rent entire villas or borgos exclusively, or estates where the celebration becomes the culmination of a broader experience.

Fewer people means more time with each one. Less dispersed spending means more investment in quality. Less performance, more authenticity.

from symbolic to fully legal Ceremony Options

R

Symbolic Ceremony:

Enjoy a meaningful celebration in one of Italy's most beautiful settings, followed by a legal marriage in your home country. No paperwork is required.

R

Civil Ceremony:

A legally binding Italian marriage performed by officials in historic venues or town halls. I handle all the documentation, translations, and Nulla Osta requirements for international couples.

R

Catholic Religious Ceremony:

Sacred ceremonies in Rome's churches, Vatican chapels, and parishes across Italy. It requires Catholic documentation, and I coordinate all requirements with Italian churches.

R

Multicultural and Interfaith Ceremonies:

I also coordinate Jewish weddings, Hindu ceremonies, and celebrations that honor diverse cultural traditions.

R

Vow Renewal:

Recommit to each other without any legal requirements. You have complete freedom in location, style, and guest count.

Where your celebration unfolds Choosing your micro wedding location

One of the greatest advantages of a micro wedding is that it gives you access to exceptional venues which would be impractical or simply unavailable for larger celebrations. With up to 50 guests, Italy opens the doors to private estates, historic villages and exclusive villas, where your celebration can extend over several days.

Finding Your Perfect Setting

The ideal micro wedding venue is about more than just looking beautiful in photographs. It should accommodate your guests comfortably, facilitate genuine connections and reflect the atmosphere you want to create, whether for a day or several days.

Many couples choose locations where guests can arrive the day before and leave the day after, turning the wedding into a shared experience that lasts more than just a single day. A private vineyard estate in Tuscany, an exclusive borgo in Lazio, or a clifftop villa on the Amalfi Coast each have their own unique charm.

Every micro wedding location is a world unto itself. Let’s find the one that’s exclusively yours.

Budget and Quality Where the budget goes

With fewer guests, every euro is invested differently — not necessarily less, but more effectively. The venue becomes extraordinary rather than standard. The menu evolves from a banquet into a gastronomic journey. Your photographer can capture genuine moments instead of just documenting faces.

This is particularly evident in Italian venues — private villas, elegant agriturismos and historic estates which would be inaccessible with larger numbers. These locations offer more than just space, providing spa facilities, grounds for shared activities and wine cellars to explore together.

My role is to help you redistribute the budget according to your priorities — eliminating the superfluous and amplifying the essential.

A micro wedding isn’t for everyone. They are ideal if you prioritise spending quality time with your guests over having a large number of them.

Nothing is left to chance or done in excess How I curate your micro wedding

People celebrating with raised hands and streamers in a dimly lit, crowded indoor space with rough stone walls.

Living the space together

I choose locations that you will inhabit rather than just pass through: private estates with a room for every guest; entire borgos; and farmhouses where breakfast the morning after feels as natural as dinner under the stars.

The Experience

From cooking classes and vineyard excursions to spa sessions and guided walks, we can weave shared activities naturally into your celebration. These are the moments that guests will remember as much as the ceremony itself.

Food as narrative

I create genuine gastronomic journeys with contained numbers — tasting menus developed with chefs, wine pairings that tell the story of the local area, and opportunities to meet local producers.

Flawless Coordination

Vendor management, multi-day timeline, guest logistics, budget oversight, complete design — all handled personally. You have one point of contact throughout: me.

I take care of everything, so you don't have to Every detail. Every document. Every moment.

Exclusively yours. I manage every micro wedding myself, I don’t pass the work on to anyone else. From the first call to the last dance, you only deal with me.

Rome is my home, and Italy is my territory. With over a decade’s experience of working with some of the country’s finest venues, from Roman villas to Tuscan estates and Amalfi terraces, I know all the hidden gems and trusted vendors that can make your celebration truly special.

Bureaucracy made simple. From Nulla Osta to translations and legal filings, I handle the entire process for international couples. Don’t worry about Italian paperwork.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to frequently asked questions about our wedding planning services and ensure that your special day runs smoothly and is memorable.

Is a micro wedding right for us?

A micro wedding is ideal if you believe that fewer guests means more intimacy and not less celebration. It’s ideal if you prioritise quality over quantity, preferring shared experiences to performative events and genuine time with guests to simply having more of them. It’s not a compromise — it’s a conscious choice that less can be more.

Do you deal with bureaucracy for international couples?

Yes, I do. I can help with documents, translations, Nulla Osta and coordination with the municipality. I am familiar with the procedures and can simplify them for you.

Do you personally follow every wedding?

Yes. From beginning to end. No delegation. This includes all legal aspects if you’re coming from abroad.

do you only work in rome?

I primarily work in Rome and the surrounding areas of Lazio, Tuscany, Umbria and the Amalfi Coast. I also consider other Italian destinations for special projects.

What is the process for booking your services?

We start with an initial consultation, which can be conducted in person in Rome or via video call. During this consultation, we will discuss your vision, guest count, preferred locations, timeline and budget.

If we’re the right fit, I will send you a detailed proposal outlining the services I offer, the timeline and the cost. Once you have confirmed your interest, a booking fee will secure your date — I only take on a limited number of micro weddings per year.

Then the planning begins, including venue scouting, vendor selection, design development and legal documentation for international couples. I will be your single point of contact throughout.

The ideal timeline is 12–18 months in advance, though shorter timeframes are occasionally possible.

Why should we hire a wedding planner for a micro wedding?

A micro wedding with 50 guests can be very complex. It involves venue contracts for group accommodation, multi-day coordination, guest logistics and timeline management across several days. For international couples, there is also the added complexity of Italian bureaucracy.

The idea that fewer guests means simpler planning is a misconception. A micro wedding requires the same level of design and vendor coordination as a larger celebration, while also creating the intimate, curated atmosphere that makes it special.

I handle all of this complexity so that you can focus on what matters: spending meaningful time with your guests, enjoying flawless coordination and having the confidence that every detail aligns with your vision.
