Between Castel Sant'Angelo and the Trevi Fountain: the "yes" of Lilia

The sunrise in Rome provided the backdrop for a fairytale wedding proposal for Miguel and Lilia, a Mexican couple who chose the Eternal City to declare their eternal love.

Their journey begins at dawn, aboard a vintage Volkswagen van driven by a “somewhat crazy” driver. Castel Sant’Angelo, St. Peter’s, Pantheon: each monument reveals itself under the soft light of morning, creating an evocative and romantic atmosphere.

At each stop, Miguel surprises Lilia with a heart-shaped box containing a love note that tells their story and their feelings. The climax of the couple’s emotions is at the Trevi Fountain, where Miguel, with a bouquet of red roses and a letter filled with words of love, kneels down and asks for Lilia’s hand in marriage.
